We’ve done the Ore To Shore Race a few times. Kyle, Reid and Lynn did the 28 Miler last time and I (Steve) has done the 48 miler a few times. It’s a good race and I used to say it was a slightly more entertaining version of the Cheq 40 with not as many people. I think I would restate that to say it’s a more mountain bikey version of the Cheq 40 as there is legitimate singletrack in the course and some of the double track rides a bit rough. That said, it is still very fast and you will find yourself in pace lines through the double track, snowmobile trails and fire roads.
