This TIME ADHX 45 gravel bike is up for sale and hitting the website — so here’s a fresh walk-through of the exact build that’s on it now, plus Steve’s honest take after living with the bike. It’s a roadie’s gravel bike: shorter wheelbase, steeper front end, a more active ride. How It Rides

The ADHX 45 is a roadie’s gravel bike — a shorter wheelbase and steeper front end give it a more active, lively feel. Asked once how it stacks up against a true performance road bike, Steve’s honest answer was that he’d take a dedicated road bike for that sporty road feel — and as long as he has one of those, this stays his gravel bike. It also makes a really great endurance bike, and Steve is a genuine fan of TIME frames. He’s ridden this one with 45s and 40s; the Challenge Strada Bianca was his all-around favorite tire on it — fast, if a little looser on gravel. The Getaways now on it add a center tread for a bit more flat protection.

The Details That Matter

A few honest, useful notes on this specific bike:

Cockpit is flexible. It’s on an aluminum bar to keep the price in check — a carbon bar can go on if you want it. The hydraulic lines were deliberately left long and open (the shop does this on integrated-headset demos), which means the stem can be swapped for fit and, when you buy it, you have the slack to go to a fully integrated one-piece bar if that’s your plan.

Two honest blemishes. There’s a small paint chip at the bottom bracket (almost certainly a rock chip off the front tire — the finish under it looks fine) and a scratch on the chainstay that Steve noticed early on, origin unknown. Nothing structural, but worth showing straight up on a used bike.

Tires aren’t locked in. The Challenge Getaways are brand new, but if the cotton sidewall isn’t your thing, the shop can swap to the second set of HED wheels with Terra Speeds, or something else.

Curious what a dialed ADHX build looks like new? One of Steve’s favorite builds was the TIME ADHX 45 with a full Force XPLR 13-speed group and Reserve wheels — worth a look alongside this one.

The Bottom Line

A lively roadie’s gravel bike, ready to ride

A green-fade TIME ADHX 45 on a clean Force XPLR build, freshly waxed and running brand-new tires, with an honest couple of cosmetic blemishes and a flexible cockpit that leaves your fit and bar options open. It’s a fun, active gravel bike that doubles as a strong endurance ride — and it’s for sale now, shippable if the size is right.
