We updated this old Massi with an 11 speed Ultegra groupset and a new cockpit. Details are in the video, but we installed a quill to treadless adaptor, so we could install a modern 31.8 bar. We kept the old crank and brakes, but updated the stem, bars, hoods, rear derailleur, cassette, chain and front derailleur. The customer already had a newer set of wheels that fit the 11sp cassette. It turned out really good and took an old classic that somebody enjoyed and wanted to keep riding, but with some more modern and usable gears.
