Our General Thoughts On These Tires

These tires are great and that should be no surprise as they are based on the popular Mezcal mountain bike xc race tire. That said, I was a little surprised with them. They were better than I thought they would be. I like everything about them and have been riding them most recent on a TIME ADHX 45. They don’t roll as fast as a Challenge Strada Bianca, but they do roll really well and given the tread, they will offer you a bit more puncture protection over a Strada Bianca. They handle a variety of gravel really well also. It’s a good fast rolling and versatile tire.

Bottom Line

1 of our top picks of gravel tires. If you’re looking for a gravel tire larger than 40mm, this one should be on your short list.
