Ride Notes
The Michigan Tech Trails is where it all started… I (Steve) put a lot of miles on mountain bikes at the Michigan Tech Trails during my college years when I was getting into riding. I’ve only been back on the trails a couple times since then as most of the riding when we’re back in the Keweenaw is in the Churning Rapids trails as our family lives just down he road and we can ride from the house. Otherwise, these are fun and we really need to make a point to go ride these the next time we’re in town. The last time I rode them, I still recognized a few spots, but the trail system back there has changed a ton and some of the original trail that we rode back in the college days are gone, but there was a lot of new and really fun trail.
