About this calculator

Built for modern 12- and 13-speed road, gravel, and MTB / mullet drivetrains. It focuses on what most riders actually care about: how fast each gear goes at a practical cadence range.

Why show speeds across several cadences?

One cadence alone can hide useful differences between drivetrains. The cadence-range table makes it easier to see whether a setup has enough top end for fast riding and a low enough climbing gear for steep terrain.

How is tire circumference estimated?

From bead seat diameter (BSD) and nominal tire width - transparent and consistent, without relying on a hard-coded rollout chart.
