Lynn wanted a little more confidence going downhill for the Badlands Gravel Battle, so we put drop bars on her AIR 9. She rode a Salsa Warbird the previous year, which is a great bike, but mountain bike tires and 100 mm of suspension on the front end offered for more forgiving a and smoother ride on the fast downhills giving her some confidence to get off the brake levers a bit and let the bike go.
