Ride Notes
This was a quick stop in for a short ride to check out the trails late in the season. I did not get to ride all of the trails and need to get back, but enjoyed what I had a chance to ride. It seems like my style of riding with old school exposed roots and rocks on some loops with some nice flow sections. I enjoy and have fun riding the new style of flow machine built trails, but old school hand built style trails brings me back to the late 90s when I got into it with rough trails that made you work for it and still have to pedal your bike. We need to get back and ride the rest of it…
I did break a chain, but try to keep a spare set of chain links zip tied to my seat rails, so I always have one ready. This was the first chain break I’ve had in about 25 years though.
