Ride Notes
We’ve ridden here many times over the years. It’s a nice continuous loop of around 11 miles with a lot of switchbacks and very few hills. The elevation changes are short enough that momentum carries you up most of them with a few exceptions, assuming you’re carrying your speed. The trail stays entertaining as it has different sections that have a bit of a different atmosphere to them such as Prairie Land and Grizzland. It can definitely get busy in the evenings during the week and mornings/afternoons on the weekends. The trail rides fast if you can carry your speed through the switchbacks and keep your handlebars out of the tight tree sections. It’s also a great place do endurance MTB rides if your goal is to get a lot of Z2 time in on the flat bars.
Ride Videos
We’ve got some ride video from our last ride that still needs to get posted up to YouTube. Will share here as soon as it gets posted.
